What is included?
Registration fees for Congress participants include:
- access to the
- Opening Ceremony
- scientific sessions
- exhibition
- e-poster area
- Awards/Closing Ceremony
- a Congress bag
- the Final Programme
- 23 European CME Credits
- a Certificate of Attendance
Registration will only become effective once the registration form and payment have been received by the Congress Secretariat. Every participant who has completed the registration process will receive a registration number and a confirmation of registration.
Fee deadlines
Early fee: until and including 30 June 2013
Normal fee: from 1 July to 15Â September 2013
On-site fee: from 16 October to 19 October 2013
Registration and payment deadline for presenting authors: 31 May 2013

Payment
The SICOT Congress Secretariat accepts the following payment methods: Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, PayPal, and bank transfer.
Bank transfers: When paying by bank transfer, please make sure that you include the reference number found on the invoice attached to the confirmation email which you will receive after filling in the online registration form. Kindly instruct your bank that all charges are at your expense.
Cheques:Â Only participants residing in India may pay by cheque on Indian Banks, if they are unable to pay by credit card. They should select "Bank Transfer" in the Payment section of the registration form. The invoice attached to the registration confirmation email will have a cheque payment option for Indian residents only.
Presenting authors
SICOT Members
When logging in to register for the Congress, SICOT Members must enter the username (membership number or, in some cases, email address) and password used to log in to the Members' Area or they will not benefit from the reduced registration fees.

Special preferential membership dues are currently available for the first year of membership for NEW members from our Friendship Regions, the member countries of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) and the Asia Pacific Orthopaedic Association (APOA). Click here to find out how you can join SICOT. Become a SICOT member and save money! The deadline for applying for membership to benefit from the reduced registration fee is 15 September 2013.
Please note that participants who register as Active Members or Associate Members will only receive their confirmation of registration and receipt once their 2013 membership dues have been paid.
Trainees
Participants who register as non-member trainees will only receive their confirmation of registration once they have supplied evidence that they are under 40 years of age AND actively engaged in a training programme. Please provide the Congress Secretariat with a copy of your passport or birth certificate and a letter from your supervisor.
Groups
To pre-register groups of over 10 participants, please contact the Congress Secretariat.
Companies
Under EU law, companies which are registering participants and are located within the European Union must supply their VAT (Value Added Tax) number.
Social Programme
The Welcome Buffet and the Indian Night Party are NOT included in the Congress registration fee. More information about the Social Programme is available here.
Sports Programme
The Charity Run is NOT included in the Congress registration fee. More information about the Sports Programme will be available online shortly.
Visas
It is the responsibility of the participant to ensure that he/she has obtained valid visa and travel documentation for him/her, as well as any accompanying persons, in order to attend the Congress. Cancellation & Change Policy

Participants who cancel their registration before 30 June 2013 will receive a 75% refund of the amount paid.

No refund will be made under any circumstances for cancellations received on or after 30 June 2013. This includes cancellations made due to visa refusal. Candidates are therefore advised to start the visa application process well in advance.

Name changes will incur a charge of EUR 30 per replacement. Name changes are not allowed after the late registration deadline.

No participant shall be entitled to change the participant category of their registration from Non-Member or Non-Member Trainee to SICOT Active Member or SICOT Associate Member once payment has been received by the Congress Secretariat.

In the event of cancellations of speakers or other changes in the Congress programme, no full or partial refund of the registration fee can be made.

A handling fee of EUR 35 will be retained in the event of cancellation of social activities before 31Â August 2013. No refunds will be made for cancellations of social events received after 31Â August 2013.

Refunds will be processed after the Congress. Refunds can only be made via the original payment method. Refunds by bank transfers may incur processing fees from your bank over which we have no control.
